Quality Control Professional

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Quality Control Professional to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards and comply with industry regulations. In this role, you'll manage material inspections, supplier quality issues, and work closely with production teams to maintain and improve product quality. This is a crucial position within our team, ensuring the reliability and performance of our seals, gaskets, and fasteners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and test materials, with a focus on seals, gaskets, and fasteners.
  • Interpret engineering drawings to verify product specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2000 standards and perform internal audits.
  • Manage quality documentation and maintain accurate records.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality.
  • Investigate non-conformances and oversee corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality concerns.
  • Manage Health & Safety procedures and conduct risk assessments.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2000 and auditing processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, IMDS, REACH, ROHS, ISO18001, ISO 14001 and Aerospace AS 9120
