Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a high-volume FMCG manufacturer to recruit a Production Shift Manager for their South Yorkshire based factory.
Salary: £45,400 per year
Hours:
- Monday to Friday Mornings and Afternoons on rotation

Working within a busy highly regulated FMCG Factory the Production Shift Manager will manage a team of approximately 40 operatives within their section.
Duties of the Production Shift Manager will include:
- Work with Senior Shift Manager and other Supervisors to identify the correct levels of resources
- Responsible for creating training plans and delivery, performance meetings, and absence management
- Develop manufacturing process through the delivery of cost savings, efficiency, quality, and GMP improvements
- Encourage a multi-skilled approach by rotating operatives across production lines where appropriate
- Ensure correct PPE is being worn at all times and challenge where necessary
We would be keen to speak with Production Shift Managers with the following skills/experience:
- Previous experience in high-volume food/FMCG manufacturing
- Proven experience in successfully leading diverse teams
- Knowledge and examples of implementing continuous improvement tools and techniques
- Level 3 in Food Safety
- IOSH Managing Safely
