Shift Maintenance Supervisor

Elevation Recruitment Group is working with a manufacturer based in Barnsley to recruit a Shift Maintenance Supervisor. 

Salary - £48,368 pa

Shift: Panama pattern of 12 hour shifts with a weekly average of 42 hours

• 25 days holiday plus additional entitlement in lieu of Bank Holidays

The Shift Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the engineering shift team, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities of the Shift Maintenance Supervisor:

• Supervise and lead the engineering shift team to ensure smooth operations.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair work on machinery and equipment.
• Ensure PPM tasks are completed and work with others on PPM and AM improvements
• Manage and develop maintenance work lists for immediate deployment during planned / unplanned stops
• Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve op efficiency.

Skills and Qualifications of the Maintenance Supervisor: 

• Proven experience in an engineering supervisory role.
• Recognized NVQ / EITB Apprenticeship
• HNC Engineering or ONC+ significant experience
• COMPEX Elec or Mech
• Awareness of the practical implications of all relevant Statutory legislation (PUWER, EAWR, LOLER, Risk Assessment, PSSR, CDM)
