Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled and experienced Allied Health Professional (AHP) for a long-term placement within their Community Paediatrics department.

Main duties of the job

  • To provide specialist psychological assessments of service users referred to the autism service
  • To carry out highly complex cognitive/neuropsychological assessments
  • To be responsible for implementing a range of specialist psychological interventions for individuals, carers, families and groups
  • To evaluate and make decisions about treatment options taking into account both theoretical and therapeutic models

To be successful in applying for this role you will need:

  • Relevant qualifications; Psychology Degree & doctorate in clinical psychology
  • HCPC Registration
  • Experience working with Autism Spectrum Disorder in a paediatric setting
