About the Client: Our client is a leading industrial solutions provider based in Barnsley, specializing in the design, manufacture, and support of polyurethane (PU) mixing and dispensing machinery. Their cutting-edge equipment is utilized across various industries, including foam production, offshore cable protection, and elastomer casting. Role Overview: The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing projects from concept to customer handover. This role involves designing detailed electrical schematics, creating bills of materials, and overseeing the design of electrical control panels for industrial applications. The position covers the full project lifecycle, including design, commissioning, installation, and customer support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and design electrical schematics using Eplan P8 software.
  • Produce detailed bills of materials (BOM) for projects.
  • Design and develop electrical control panels, ensuring adherence to industry standards and specifications.
  • Work closely with project teams to deliver quality solutions on time and within budget.
  • Assist with the installation, commissioning, and testing of control systems at client sites.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers during project handover.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Proficiency in Eplan P8 for electrical schematic design.
  • Strong understanding of electrical control panel design principles and industry standards.
  • Experience in creating and managing bills of materials.
  • Familiarity with Siemens S7/TIA Portal for PLC programming is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of industrial control systems, including hardware and software integration.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to work independently or collaboratively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
