ROOFER WITH MAIN CONTRACTOR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR A CONTRACT POSITION IN BARNSLEY

Job Title: Roofer  

Location: Barnsley, South Yorkshire  

Hourly Rate: £19.29 Per hour 

Contract length: 3 Months

Potential for permanent position

• Work vehicle provided
• Fuel card

Overview for Roofer role:
We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join both our planned works and reactive maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in the social housing sector and possess a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities:

• Use hand tools and power tools to complete roofing projects
• Read and interpret schematics for roof installations
• Perform welding, building, and masonry tasks as needed
• Lift heavy materials and equipment during roofing projects
• Fabricate and install roofing materials
• Work closely with carpenters on roofing projects

Requirements for Roofer role:

• City & Guilds Diploma In Roofing Occupations, DBS, Asbestos Awareness UKATA or IATP, NVQ Roofing Occupations
• Full UK Driving License
