Job Overview:

As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics education, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Support students with varying abilities, ensuring differentiation in lessons
  • Collaborate with other teaching staff to ensure a cohesive learning experience
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events where required
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • A degree in Mathematics or a related subject
  • Proven experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable)
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • A commitment to promoting high standards of teaching and learning
