Due to growing demand in Barnsley, TeacherActive is seeking enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support Secondary Schools in the area. This role is perfect for individuals who are confident in managing a classroom environment while delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the regular teacher.

Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering pre-set lesson plans across various subjects
- Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment
- Supporting students with tasks and activities as directed by the teacher
- Collecting and returning completed work to the appropriate staff
- Providing feedback on classroom behaviour and engagement in line with school policies
- Handling any immediate classroom issues in accordance with school procedures

Desirable Qualifications (Not Essential):
- Level 2 Award in Support Work in Schools
- Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
- Level 3 Certificate in Cover Supervision of Pupils in Schools
