My client in the Mexborough area of Rotherham require x 2 Plater / Fabricators.

Overview
We are seeking a skilled MIG and TIG Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of welding techniques and be proficient in working with various materials, including sheet metal. This role involves fabricating and assembling components to meet precise specifications while ensuring high-quality standards are maintained.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG and TIG welding on various materials, ensuring strong and clean welds.
Assemble and fabricate components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.

Skills

Proficient in MIG and TIG welding techniques, with experience in stick welding considered an advantage.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings.
Competent in basic maths for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately.
Experience working with hand tools and power tools relevant to welding tasks.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills.
Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
