Our client is a dedicated charity, committed to creating positive change. Seeking a Part-Time Management Accountant to help us maintain robust financial systems and make a meaningful impact.

About the Role:The Management Accountant will play a key role in supporting the charity's financial operations and strategic decision-making. You will ensure financial resources are managed effectively, providing accurate and timely reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present monthly management accounts and financial reports to senior leadership.
  • Monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow to support financial planning.
  • Analyse variances and provide insights to improve financial performance.
  • Support grant reporting and funding applications with relevant financial data.
  • Ensure compliance with charity regulations and assist with year-end accounts and audits.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and maintain financial controls and policies.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and advice as needed.

About You:We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a passion for supporting charities.

  • A recognized accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or significant equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in management accounting, preferably in a charity or nonprofit setting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and tools.
  • Knowledge of charity-specific financial regulations and reporting requirements.
