Our client, a leading accounting firm in Barnstaple, is seeking a motivated and eager Accounting Technician to join their growing team on a Permanent basis. The successful candidate will have an AAT qualification or relevant experience to hit the ground running into this role.
Responsibilities
Prepare financial statements for various business structures.
Manage tax compliance, including personal and corporate tax returns.
Oversee bookkeeping and accounting functions.
Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain accurate financial records.
Support the team through general administrative tasks.
Experience and Qualifications.
Possess strong analytical skills and enjoy working with numbers.
Comfortable using Microsoft Word and Excel for daily tasks.
AAT qualified.
Previous experience in accounts preparation.
Deliver accurate work consistently and on time.
