As a Health & Safety Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees. Duties include;
- Supporting H&S Team in managing and implementing health and safety policies
- Ensuring the workplace is compliant with all regulations
- 90% office based, 10% shop floor based working
- Conducting regular Gemba walks to identify potential hazards and implement proactive measures to prevent accidents and improve overall safety.
- Management of small internal projects, & supporting on larger H&S projects across the business
- To use creativity and innovative thinking to develop and implement new safety initiatives that push the workplace to new heights.
- Carry out inspections & audits as directed by H&S Manager
- Ensure accurate & timely reporting on the online management system
- Supporting on the maintenance and review of risk assessments, SOPs, & other documentation
Candidate Requirements;
- 1 years experience within Health & Safety is desirable, however we are also accepting applications from graduate's who are passionate about seeking a career in Health & Safety.
- IOSH would be beneficial but not essential
- Excellent excel & IT skills
- A desire for career progression
- Process improvement & continuous improvement minded
