What you’ll be doingYou will take responsibility for the electrical and electronic design and development of our products utilising state-of-the-art methods, technology and tools to explore all aspects of the development lifecycle, engineering analysis, requirements analysis, design, implementation, test, build and product support.
  • Take responsibility for the Electrical and Electronic Engineering delivery of a variety of Electro-mechanical Systems supplied by SEA working to agreed cost, time and quality.
  • Seek and share good practice and knowledge locally to continuously improve own practices.
  • Support and facilitate reviews and approvals of electrical & electronic designs in accordance with business and industry standards.
  • Provide input to Company standards pertaining to Electrical and Electronic Engineering including calculations, CAD models, manufacturing drawings & schematics and technical reports.
  • Support SEA products through manufacturing, assembly, installation and service life.
The skills you need
  • Degree within Electronics or other relevant discipline
  • Experience in the design and manufacture of Electrical/Electronics Systems.
  • Ability to follow a methodical/systematic approach to analyse and solve problems, identifying key facts and breaking down complex information to components parts
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Able to produce clear and concise technical documentation
  • Demonstrable ability to plan and execute technical assignment
