What youll be doing
You will take responsibility for the electrical and electronic design and development of our products utilising state-of-the-art methods, technology and tools to explore all aspects of the development lifecycle, engineering analysis, requirements analysis, design, implementation, test, build and product support.
- Take responsibility for the Electrical and Electronic Engineering delivery of a variety of Electro-mechanical Systems supplied by SEA working to agreed cost, time and quality.
- Seek and share good practice and knowledge locally to continuously improve own practices.
- Support and facilitate reviews and approvals of electrical & electronic designs in accordance with business and industry standards.
- Provide input to Company standards pertaining to Electrical and Electronic Engineering including calculations, CAD models, manufacturing drawings & schematics and technical reports.
- Support SEA products through manufacturing, assembly, installation and service life.
The skills you need
- Degree within Electronics or other relevant discipline
- Experience in the design and manufacture of Electrical/Electronics Systems.
- Ability to follow a methodical/systematic approach to analyse and solve problems, identifying key facts and breaking down complex information to components parts
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Able to produce clear and concise technical documentation
- Demonstrable ability to plan and execute technical assignment
