We have an exciting opportunity available at SEA. We are looking for a Head of Torpedo Launchers to lead, manage and grow our business.

In this position you will have the opportunity to ensure a clear strategic plan is produced and executed, understanding and assessing our Torpedo Launcher System product fit with the current and future markets. You will be responsible for ensuring on-time Project, Product and Capability delivery is in line with agreed budgets for both direct & indirect staff.

What youll be doing
To lead, manage and grow the business by:
  • Ensuring a clear strategic plan is produced and executed, ensuring the accessible market is clearly articulated and appropriate resources, capability enhancements and relevant capture activities are implemented, in the agreed timescale.
  • Understanding and assessing our product fit with the current and future markets so to produce the annual Private Venture (PV) investment requirements and business case, which mean our TLS Products meet the needs of multiple customers.
  • Ensuring On-time Project, Product and Capability delivery, in line with agreed budgets for both direct & indirect staff.
  • Ensuring excellent internal and external relationships are established and maintained across all areas of responsibility.
  • Work closely with the Head of Martine Support & Services to ensure seamless hand over to support.

The skills you need
  • Experience leading a Business Area, delivering complex projects throughout an engineering lifecycle in a defence environment
  • Product roadmap development
  • Ability to demonstrate Risk Opportunity and Earned Value Management (EVM) experience
  • You need to have experience in business development
  • You must be eligible for SC Clearance.
