Care Worker

Care worker, Required for Residential Home night shift

We need caring and reliable individuals who are interested in helping us to provide dignified, personal, social care for older people in a residential setting, including assisting with washing, dressing, hygiene and mobility needs, meals, and entertainment.

Reliability, flexibility, a caring attitude, and a respect for older people is essential. It is also necessary to have a positive attitude towards the care team and the business.

Responsibilities and Duties

Initially under supervision you will provide personal and social care for older people in a residential setting, including assisting with washing, dressing, hygiene and mobility needs, meals, and entertainment.

This position does involve night shift work (8.00pm to 8.00am) and some weekend shifts although a set shift pattern may be available.

Qualifications and Skills

Experience in care delivery and working nights is preferred but NOT essential as training will be given. If you are a qualified trainer in moving and handling or first aid you will be on a higher rate of pay.

Contract: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Hours: 24-36 hrs per week, 12 hour night shift 8pm-8am

Pay: £12.50 - £14 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
