Barnstaple - £26-28k - Perm - Full Time

Are you an experienced HR Professional looking for a varied and challenging role in the North Devon area? This could be just the role that you’ve been looking for.

Our client is an education provider based in Barnstaple. This is a pivotal role working with the people team, and your duties in this position will include:

  • Assisting with retention strategies, promoting equal opportunities, co-ordinating people initiatives and implementing best practice throughout the full employee lifecycle.
  • Coaching and consulting with management on people matters.
  • Providing regular reports on all HR metrics.
  • Partnering closely with management and providing training on people practices.
  • Creating, reviewing and updating people related policies.
  • Supporting, managing and resolving employee relation issues.
  • Assisting with the development, promotion and implementation of HR projects and related issues.

This role would suit a candidate with extensive experience working within an HR environment, to include a strong knowledge of recruitment and onboarding. You will need to demonstrate a strong knowledge of current HR legislation, strong systems and data management skills, and the ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
