Our client is an education provider based in Barnstaple. This is a pivotal role working with the people team, and your duties in this position will include:
- Assisting with retention strategies, promoting equal opportunities, co-ordinating people initiatives and implementing best practice throughout the full employee lifecycle.
- Coaching and consulting with management on people matters.
- Providing regular reports on all HR metrics.
- Partnering closely with management and providing training on people practices.
- Creating, reviewing and updating people related policies.
- Supporting, managing and resolving employee relation issues.
- Assisting with the development, promotion and implementation of HR projects and related issues.
This role would suit a candidate with extensive experience working within an HR environment, to include a strong knowledge of recruitment and onboarding. You will need to demonstrate a strong knowledge of current HR legislation, strong systems and data management skills, and the ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
