We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team.

As a Project Manager in fire and security, you'll oversee the planning, execution, and completion of projects related to fire protection and security systems.

Boden Fire and Security deliver services and project works to the Ministry of Defence and commercial clients at multiple sites in the South West and South East.

Key duties include:

  • Lead the planning, delivery, and closing phases of fire and security projects.
  • Develop project scopes, timelines, and budgets.
  • Oversee the cost tracking and lifecycle management of replacement and additional works, specific to fire detection, suppression, access control, and surveillance systems.
  • Manage risks, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal teams.
  • Conduct regular project meetings and provide detailed progress updates.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Promote a safety culture and conduct safety inspections on project work activities.

Required Skills and experience:

Essential:

  • Proven experience in project management within the electrical or fire & security industries.
  • Proficiency in project management tools.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritise effectively.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of fire and security systems.
  • Strong understanding of British Standards and relevant regulations.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of access control, CCTV, intruder alarms.
  • Proficiency in CAD software.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Prince2, PMP, FIA qualifications)
