Role: SEN Teaching Assistant

Contract: Full time, permanent

Working hours: Monday - Friday, term time only, 08:45 - 16:45
Salary: £24,000 - £25,000 per annum
We are delighted to partner with a fantastic special school that is looking for a compassionate, dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. The school provides tailored, high-quality education for students aged 7 - 18, with a focus on fostering personal growth and academic success.

About the role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

Deliver exceptional support to students with additional needs, fostering engagement in their learning journey

Provide one-to-one assistance to support academic and personal development when required

Assist classroom teachers with daily lesson preparation and classroom management

Help students develop emotional resilience and essential life skills

Be flexible and willing to work across the school’s multiple sites and outreach centres
About you:
We’re looking for someone who:

Has a genuine desire to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people

Remain calm and professional, even in challenging situations

Brings prior experience working with individuals with additional needs

Holds a valid driving license, has been driving for at least 2 years and owns a vehicle with business-use insurance (or is willing to obtain it)

Has a good sense of humour and a flexible, adaptable mindset
