Position: Special Needs Teaching Assistant
Location: Barnstaple
Salary: £85 to £95 per day
Job Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in the classroom.
- Work alongside the teacher to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist with students' academic, social, and emotional development, ensuring each child can reach their potential.
- Develop supportive relationships with students, helping build their confidence and independence.
- Provide assistance with any personal or medical care needs, when required.
Requirements:
- A compassionate, patient, and supportive approach to working with children.
- Experience with SEN students is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- A flexible and proactive attitude to adapt to students' needs.
