Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Structural Design Engineer to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing precast concrete structures for a variety of projects, including civil, residential, and industrial. You will work closely with clients, contractors and colleagues to ensure the successful delivery of projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed structural designs for precast concrete elements, including beams, columns, slabs, and panels.
- Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate design solutions.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure design integrity and quality.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the project team throughout the construction process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
- Chartership may be an advantage but not essential
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural design, with a focus on precast concrete structures.
- Strong knowledge of relevant design codes and standardsÂ
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
