ARCA is partnered with a rapidly scaling, world class motion simulation business seeking to expand its operations team.

We are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Technical Project Manager within the operations team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high technology business which are working some of the biggest F1 and motorsport companies.

The Technical Project Manager will have the opportunity to be an influencing figure within the company, with exposure to every project.  You will be instrumental in ensuring the successful planning and delivery of projects on time; not only meeting safety and compliance requirements, but also the technical and budgetary specification. Key duties include but will not be limited to:

  • Working within a team of technical experts who specialise in the design, build and commissioning of world class motion simulators.
  • You will be responsible for assuring that all projects deliver safe equipment that satisfies all of the requirements.
  • Managing multiple projects utilising the appropriate systems, processes and resources to facilitate optimal delivery.
  • Identifying, managing, and mitigating risks and issues, and agreeing accountabilities and responsibilities with the wider project team
  • Coordinate and communicate project scope, identify dependencies and understand the critical path to secure timely project delivery

Essential Skills & experience:

  • A degree qualification in an engineering discipline is highly preferred.
  • In depth understanding of Project Management fundamentals
  • Desirable: Understanding or experience of an engineering discipline such as, mechanical design, control system design or systems engineering
  • Proficiency with scheduling tools such as Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC) or P6 (preferred), along with familiarity with Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • A logical approach to approaching tasks and solving problems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a high pressure dynamic environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaboration and Engagement skills
