I have been asked by my client- a specialist in the remediation of contaminated land and associated works- a Site Engineerto be based on a large scheme in Barrow, Cumbria - there may be occasional travel to other projects further down the line but these will be commutablefrom Barrow.
This 16 m contract is expected to last up to 18 months and my client will be responsible for full remediation of the site, utility diversions and realignment of existing roads and demolition works.
Once completed the site will be used for a residential development of a couple of hundred homes. This is a key project in the redevelopment of the Barrow area.
The successful applicant will have a Civil Engineeringdegree, experience of remediation/earthworks/groundworks/enabling works and have a strong technical knowledge.
The salary on offer is at a level that should attract a candidate somewhere between intermediate and senior level and there is room for negotiation to secure the right candidate with the right experience.
