Crane Operator

Morson are recruiting Overhead Gantry Crane Operators on behalf of our prestigious defence client, for a 12 month initial contract, on site in Barrow in Furness. 

What you’ll be doing:

• Lifting of loads
• Confined spaces
• Works safely at all times, complying with Health and Safety and other relevant regulations and guidelines, in accordance with training
• Interprets information to confirm customer requirements
• Selects and prepares consumables, materials, components and equipment
• Cleaning, Providing temporary protection solutions
• Checks the completed activity to ensure that all operations have been completed to meet the required specification

Your Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years Crane Op experience.
• Must have relevant in-date certificates provided by an accredited body and able to supply these on application
• Experience and training certificates must be for overhead gantry cranes.

Candidates must be flexible to work shifts. Full rate card can be supplied on request.

Successful candidates will be required to gain Security clearance before eligible to start on site, so start dates will not be immediate.
