What You’ll Do

As an Apprentice & Skills Development Coach, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and impactful teaching, learning, and assessment sessions, helping learners unlock their full potential.
  • Guide and mentor apprentices throughout their development journey, offering personalized support and motivation.
  • Monitor and assess learners' progress to ensure they meet occupational standards and excel in their roles.
  • Design and implement innovative, blended learning experiences that promote creativity, problem-solving, and vocational excellence.
  • Address welfare and safeguarding needs with professionalism and care.
What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has effective coaching and mentoring skills to inspire and support learners.
  • Possesses strong interpersonal abilities, especially in dealing with safeguarding and welfare matters.
  • Is a qualified and experienced Steelworker with a proven track record in the trade.
  • Is IT literate and comfortable using technology in a learning environment.
  • Ideally holds an A1 Assessor qualification (desirable).
