Eventus Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Mortgage Advisor in Barrow in Furness. There will be no cold calling, as leads will be generated for you through an estate agency and a solicitor firm which are part of the wider group structure. Additionally there is a strong bank of existing clients and the incoming Mortgage Adviser will focus on providing clients the best possible service. The role of Mortgage Adviser will be responsible for providing expert advice on mortgages, protection and related products to both existing and prospective clients. Your goal will be to maximise profitability while maintaining the highest standards of client service.

About you:

  • You will be client focused - our clients are very important to the business
  • You will be CeMAP qualified with a minimum of 1 year’s mortgage Advisory experience
  • You will be able to engage with people from all walks of life, understand their needs effectively to offer them the best advice, ensuring a smooth running and compliant application process
  • You should have strong knowledge of mortgage and protection products
  • You will be responsible for the performance of the Mortgage Administrator, including conducting performance reviews, so should have the ability to coach and develop others
  • You should be confident in using all the Microsoft Office suite and have good IT skills so you can keep systems up to date and get the most out of them.
  • You like working in a team; supporting each other, working together and being flexible
