Position: Teaching AssistantLocation: SEN School, Barrow-in-FurnessSalary: £90 - £125 per day Contract Type: Full-time / Term-time

What We're Looking For:* A compassionate, reliable, and adaptable individual who has experience or an interest in working with children with special educational needs.* Someone with the ability to build strong, trusting relationships with students, staff, and parents.* A team player who can collaborate effectively and support students both inside and outside the classroom.* An understanding of how to provide personalised support to meet individual learning needs.* A commitment to creating a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:* Supporting students with a range of learning difficulties on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.* Assisting in classroom activities and adapting resources to suit individual needs.* Helping to create and implement individual education plans (IEPs).* Working closely with teachers and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for each student.* Supporting students with personal care when required.
