Senior Technical Author Barrow-in-FurnessRemote working Paying up to £46,000 (DOE) + benefits ARM has partnered with a large Defence client who is looking for an experienced Senior Technical Author with experience regarding EMC design & testing. As the Senior Technical Author, you'll be working with the Electrical Engineering (EMC) team and providing support on ongoing defence-related projects. Responsibilities:* Specify and manage requirements and acceptance criteria specific to a system, platform, or programmes.* Advising design teams on EMC requirements and design considerations* Liaising with EMC test engineers to design and specify testing regimes to prove system compliance against relevant standards.* Designing and implementing system mitigation to meet EMC standards.Experience required:* Hold a BEng (Hons) / MEng or equivalent qualification.* Experience of design for EMC compliance* Knowledge of EMC Defence Standards would be an advantage i.e. (Def Stan 59-411)* Be eligible to obtain UK security clearance to SC level.
