Our client, operating within the defence sector, is currently seeking two Senior Project Professionals - Delivery to join their team in Barrow on a 12-month contract basis. This role involves working closely with the Ministry of Defence (MOD) and various internal departments to ensure successful project delivery for submarine solutions. The role requires on-site presence on Wednesdays and Thursdays each week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with MOD to define the scope of Government Furnished Assets (GFA)
- Collaborating with Engineering, Operations, and Planning functions
- Requesting GFA in accordance with the GFA Management Process
- Liaising with Planning to establish 'Required by Dates'
- Monitoring and managing GFA, addressing any related issues
- Developing and maintaining internal processes to manage GFA
- Ensuring our client fulfils project contractual obligations
- Providing management reporting and metrics on the status of GFA
Job Requirements:
- Experience in project management
- Working knowledge of SAP
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
