Job title: Network Design Engineer
Location: Barrow-In-Furness (Hybrid)
Day Rate: Dependant on experience (PAYE Umbrella)
Role:
An opportunity has come available for a MS Project Planner to work on behalf of a highly respected IT Consultancy.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Producing Low Level designs from approved High Level Designs and input High Level Designs
- Configuring core infrastructure components (Data Centre Fabric, Access/Distribution Switches, routers, WAN, firewalls, load balancers, Authentication servers, Wifi controllers, management tooling)
- Performing impact assessments on large or complex network and testing to pre-determined plans and analyse results.
- Planning survey's for cross/site distribution areas ( Fibre )
- Installing new SDA switches in readiness for OOH work for installation/take on a
Essential Requirements:
- Network Design (HLD/LLD)
- Cisco Networking (Routing/Switching)
- Cisco ACI
- Firewalls (Palo Alto / Cisco)
- Authentication (802.1x / Cisco ISE / AD familiarity)
