Contract Network Engineer - SC Cleared (Inside IR35)

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer for a 6-month contract role based in Barrow-in-Furness. This position is inside IR35, and contractors must be engaged via an umbrella company.

Role Overview

As a Network Engineer, you will play a key role in a lifecycle refresh project, ensuring the successful delivery of network infrastructure solutions. You will be responsible for project delivery within agreed cost and time parameters, managing risks, issues, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, from initiation to execution and closure.
  • Define and maintain the Project Governance Plan, ensuring compliance.
  • Manage risks, issues, and project reporting for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Deliver projects in line with contractual obligations, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Provide clear and concise status and financial reporting as required.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across various levels.
  • Proven experience in project management, delivering solutions on time and within budget.
  • Understanding of network design, build, and implementation.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, O365, and Cybersecurity (preferred).
  • Experience with hyperscale cloud migration and platform engineering (preferred).
  • Background in agile delivery methodologies (preferred).
