Due to a drive for greater success, this advanced manufacturing business is currently searching for a Security Advisor Information Security to add to their talented, hardworking team in Barrow in Furness on an initial 12 months contract. Striving for innovation and creativity you can ensure no two days will be the same. This role will be offering 18.00 PAYE per hour 23.34 UMB per hour.

The Role
Within the role of Security Advisor you'll be responsible for:

* Carries out a range of tasks in support of the delivery of the Information Security / IT service.
* Manipulates data and works to identify solutions to known problems.
* Assists the team with general office management duties.


In addition, you'll also have awareness of business unit policies and processes and experience of working in a Security environment.

You

To succeed within the role of Security Advisor you'll have experience in a similar position, and you'll ideally have the following skills:

* Strong I.T skills and the ability to work with information within a security governance framework (NIST)
* Ability to gather and analyse data pulling together reports and delivering presentations
* Knowledge of working with networks / systems / software packages related to cyber security controls in use across the business
* Strong Stakeholder engagement and management in a challenging environment
