  • Job Description: Seeking an Enterprise Solutions Architect to optimize and implement architecture strategies for large-scale Submarine engineering programs, leading a team of experts and influencing stakeholders at all levels.

Location:Barrow-in-Furness (2 days a week)

Salary:£80,000 - £85,000 per annum + car allowance + 12.5% annual bonus


Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for leading cutting-edge technology solutions? I'm looking for an Enterprise Solutions Architect to spearhead the optimization and implementation of architecture strategies for large-scale Submarine engineering programs. In this senior leadership role, you'll drive innovation while leading a team of experts and influencing stakeholders at all levels.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize architecture solutions aligned with project goals, strategy, cost, and best practices.
  • Lead decision-making across all levels, driving alignment on architectural strategies.
  • Design and implement enterprise-level CAD and PLM solutions, integrating them with CAM, MES, and ERP systems.
  • Select appropriate technologies and vendors, collaborating to solve complex technical challenges.
  • Develop and maintain an enterprise architecture framework that aligns with business needs and industry standards.
  • Oversee governance to ensure solution builds meet architectural standards and quality benchmarks.


What Youll Need:

  • Proven experience as a CAD and PLM Consultant/Architect with expertise in designing and implementing solutions for large engineering or manufacturing programs.
  • Familiarity with architecture repository tools like Enterprise Architect and modeling frameworks.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels and present at business change events.


Desirable Experience:

  • Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA and Confluence, supporting agile methodologies and collaboration.
  • Familiarity with SAP and PE&O products or similar, particularly in large-scale manufacturing environments.
