This is a hybrid, permanent position offering an exciting opportunity within a highly esteemed defence programme.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimise architecture solutions to meet schedule, scope, requirement, strategic objectives, cost, and supportability.
  • Influence at all levels from Directors to Subject Matter Experts; lead and coordinate with other Architects.
  • Design and implement enterprise-level solutions using SIEMENS CAD & PLM software.
  • Integrate solutions into existing CAM, MES, and ERP systems to support various processes.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and vendors for the Submarine programme.
  • Work closely with technology and software partners to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Develop and maintain an enterprise architecture framework that aligns business demands with industry best practices.
  • Manage governance processes to ensure solutions meet architecture and design quality standards.


Job Requirements:

  • Experience as a CAD and PLM Consultant/Architect with a broad understanding of designing and implementing solutions for large engineering programmes.
  • Proficiency in using architecture repository tools such as Enterprise Architect and architecture modelling frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels, including business change communication events.


Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence supporting agile delivery methodologies or similar collaboration technologies.
  • Knowledge of SAP and PE&O product suites or similar for large manufacturing projects.
