Site Manager | Barrow In Furness | 40,000 + 5,000 Car Allowance | Construction / M&E

We are actively recruiting for a Site Manager to be based on a high security, commercial premises located in Barrow-In-Furness, Cumbria.

We have a wide range of projects, from new build construction, extensions, various construction packages (groundworks, build, roofing, fit out etc), alongside various Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) installations, upgrades, replacements etc.

Your role will be to be on-site, supervising sub-contractors and works, reporting back into the Project Manager.

Package:

  • 40,000 Basic Salary.
  • 5,000 Car Allowance
  • Location: Barrow in Furness - with some travel across the North WestUK.

Duties:

  • As the Site Manager, you will sit between the Project Manager and sub-contractors carrying out works.
  • Over-seeing a variety of projects within commercial environments / across commercial systems. Including a wide variety of construction packages and M&E works.
  • Ensuring compliance and health and safety is adhered to, ie: risk assessments, RAMS, issuing permits, reading remedial reports.
  • Ensuring top quality workmanship and works are delivered on time with schedule.

Requirements:

  • Must hold a trade qualification in a relevant field, ie: Construction, roofing, carpentry, plumbing, electrical etc.
  • SSSTS or SMSTShighly desirable.
  • Experience working within commercial environmentsis highly desirable.
  • Must hold a UK driving license / be legally able to drive in the UK.
  • Must be willing to travel within the North West of England as and when required.
