Title: Senior Planning Engineer
Location: Barrow-in-Furness
Salary: 60-80,000 per annum + car allowance + bonus + package
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Senior Planning Engineer or Planner looking to take a step up in their career to join a leading Civil Engineering Main Contractor in Barrow-in-Furness. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of live civil engineering projects across the region, with values ranging from 5m to 25m.
As a key member of the project delivery team, you will be responsible for site-based planning and play a crucial role in driving project success from inception to completion. The Senior Planning Engineer will play a pivotal role in the project's successful delivery, working closely with the Project Managers and ensuring that the construction programmes are communicated effectively to the site teams.
To succeed in this role, the Senior Planning Engineer will need solid experience in civil engineering planning, strong working knowledge of NEC contracts, and proficiency in Primavera P6. Your ability to interpret technical drawings, manage complex schedules, and communicate effectively with stakeholders will be key to your success.
CANDIDATE
- Proven experience as a Planning Engineer within the civil engineering sector.
- Strong working knowledge of the NEC contract suite.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 is essential.
- Solid understanding of civil engineering construction processes, ideally with site-based experience.
- Exceptional communication skills.
