Lead Project Professional Site and Facilities

Barrow in Furness

£62.02 per hour Umbrella Inside IR35

12 Month Contract initially.

This is a great opportunity to work within one of the UK's leading Defence organisations based In Barrow in Furness.

Will mainly be office based with occasional work on construction sites (please note this will be full time site based with no hybrid work available)





What you'll be doing:

  • Managing major construction projects lifecycles within a highly regulated environment
  • Responsible for controlling & reporting against all commercial and financial aspects of projects from concept to completion (both internal and external supply chain activities)
  • Discharging Client duties in accordance in accordance with CDM regulations 2015.
  • Maintain and manage a safety focused environment and culture aligned to the high-risk aspects of the projects undertaken
  • Managing multiple construction aspects while also effectively liaising with Contractors and Stakeholders

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Experience managing Major Projects of significant complexity and up to multi million pound value
  • Team Leadership experience
  • Proficient stakeholder management experience and effective communication at all levels internally and externally
  • Qualification in Project Management and/or Engineering/Construction, with an established - Project Management skillset (e.g. development of Plans, Business Cases, Risk Management, OR equivalent experience)
  • Looking for someone with construction experience with Project Management experience. Someone with an eye for detail with a health and safety background.
  • Project management qualifications along
  • NEBOSH (general certificate in health & safety) IOSH, SMST would be advantageous
