Occupational Therapist

Adult Social Care

Full time locum contract

33.96p/h (potentially negotiable depending on experience)

Immediate start

Our Local Authority Client are recruiting an Occupational Therapist to support their Adults Social Care Service in Barrow, for a temporary contract initially.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work in a team to undertake strengths-based assessments and deliver appropriate person-centred support and outcomes for people in Barrow with care and support needs.
  • Work in ways that promote independence, recognise potential for change, and through excellent practice, enable people to maximise their strengths.
  • Assess, develop and review individual support/action/risk plans, recommend the appropriate service, monitor outcomes supported by evidence based practice, ensuring personalised outcomes and appropriate interventions are provided

Requirements:

  • Have a degree in Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
  • Have post qualification experience in health or social care settings.
  • Successfully completed/be willing to complete Best Interest Assessor training.
