Role Responsibilities:
- Inspection & Quality Assurance: Perform detailed inspections according to inspection and test plans across various areas, including Dimensional Control, Electrical, Paint, Mechanical, Weld Inspection, and more.
- Guidance & Mentorship: Provide guidance to less experienced team members, ensuring quality standards are understood and met.
- Process Adherence: Follow established quality processes and procedures, contributing updates as necessary.
- Independent Inspection: Conduct routine inspections autonomously and manage more complex activities with minimal oversight.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong working relationships across BAE Systems Submarine Division, representing Quality in cross-departmental and customer interactions.
- Customer Engagement: Conduct customer audits and walkthroughs, acting as a quality representative in local reviews.
- Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Report inspection results using structured processes, contribute to team meetings, and assist with report writing and presentations.
