Our client, a prominent player in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Senior Project Professional - Delivery to join their team. This is a contracted position focused on the Dreadnought Programme, working from the Barrow site with a minimum requirement of three days onsite. This role falls inside IR35 regulations and demands a high level of security clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the delivery of project milestones within the Dreadnought Programme
- Managing project documentation and reporting activities in alignment with programme objectives
- Ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets
- Engaging with key stakeholders to coordinate project activities and deliverables
- Providing leadership and direction to project team members
- Monitoring project performance and implementing corrective actions as necessary
- Maintaining high standards of quality and compliance with security requirements
- Facilitating regular project reviews and progress meetings
Job Requirements:
- Experience in project management within the Defence & Security industry
- Understanding of engineering processes and principles
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Security clearance: SC & UK EYES ONLY
- Willingness to work onsite in Barrow for a minimum of three days a week
