ancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust (LSCFT) are looking for an innovative and enthusiastic clinical psychologist to work within a well respected Community Learning Disability Team. This fixed term 12 months post (37.5 hrs per week) is based at College House, Barrow in Furness within the South Cumbria locality. Previous experience of working with adults with learning disabilities is essential.
You will be expected to provide psychological assessment and intervention in a variety of settings and be involved in the offer of consultation, training and supervision to the wider MDT on the psychological care of adults with a learning disability. There may also be opportunities for service related research and development.
You will receive regular clinical & professional supervision from a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and you will also benefit from being a member of the Learning Disability Psychology Specialty as well as the wider Psychological Professions Community within the Trust.
