About the Role

We are seeking an innovative Clinical Psychologist to join the respected Community Learning Disability Team based in Barrow in Furness. This is an excellent opportunity to provide specialised psychological assessment and intervention for adults with learning disabilities in various community settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychological assessments and deliver interventions for adults with learning disabilities.
  • Offer consultation, training, and supervision to the multidisciplinary team (MDT) on psychological care.
  • Contribute to service-related research and development.
About You
  • Essential Experience: Previous experience working with adults with learning disabilities.
  • Supervision and Support: You will receive regular clinical and professional supervision from a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and join the Learning Disability Psychology Speciality and the wider Psychological Professions Community.
  • Psychology Degree accredited by the BPS
