  • Interpret complex technical requirements to support IV&V strategy execution.
  • Design and develop technical specifications and support systems integration.
  • Develop and manage systems engineering documentation including requirements, test plans, and acceptance criteria.
  • Lead the integration and testing of multi-disciplinary sub-systems (electronic, mechanical, software).
  • Ensure systems meet customer needs through robust qualification and test activities.
  • Provide technical leadership on work packages and Control & Instrumentation (C&I) systems.
  • Apply systems lifecycle best practices throughout test system development.
  • Coach and mentor junior engineers and, at this level, have the opportunity to line manage.
  • Support customers in-service and troubleshoot technical issues.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Control & Instrumentation systems.
  • Strong knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with relevant Defence and Industry Standards (e.g. IEC 61508/61511, ARP 4754, DO-178C/DO-254).
  • Experience leading design and verification work packages.
