Are you looking for an integral role maintaining the operation of a Port? Do you have previous experience maintaining heavy plant and equipment? We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to help to ensure our client's Port operates safely and efficiently.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reactive maintenance and repair on vessels in the port.
- As this role is dependent on the vessels requiring reactive maintenance, shift pattern can vary.
- Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance efficiently.
- You will be proactive in your approach to preventative maintenance.
- Reporting all faults and defects in a timely manner.
- Ensuring all electrical/maintenance equipment is compliant with current standards and legislation.
- You will be needed to fault find breakdown and performance issues.
- Resolving unplanned failures safely and in a timely manner to meet operational targets.
- Proposing tactical solutions to ensure activities stay on schedule.
The Candidate;
Required:
- You will have previous experience maintaining heavy plant and machinery in a heavy industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Used to working effectively as part of a team in a critical and busy environment,
- Possess excellent fault-finding skills.
- Ability to demonstrate safe working practices.
- You be qualified to ONC/OND level in Electrical Engineering will be a working AP(LV)
- Demonstrate commitment to maintaining Health and Safety standards.
- Ensuring Health and Safety is at the forefront of all activities.
- A full UK driving licence is also required.
