Business Support Officer

Part Time Contract (5 Months)

Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Procurement Officer in Slough. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours.

The job:

  • Regularly review the status of work orders to ensure timely completion, identify delays, and provide recommendations to streamline processes.
  • Examine backlog trends in work orders to identify common issues causing delays and develop strategies to address them, improving workflow efficiency
  • Work closely with relevant departments to resolve issues with open or incomplete work orders, facilitating communication and ensuring smoother operations
  • Create and maintain reports that track the progress of work orders and backlog status, presenting data and insights to management for informed decision-making
  • Propose and implement process improvements that will reduce work order backlogs, focusing on efficiency, quality control, and adherence to timelines

The candidate:

  • Administrative experience is essential
  • Previous experience working in an administrative capacity for a local authority is desirable
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Database Management
