Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Procurement Officer in Slough. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours.
The job:
- Regularly review the status of work orders to ensure timely completion, identify delays, and provide recommendations to streamline processes.
- Examine backlog trends in work orders to identify common issues causing delays and develop strategies to address them, improving workflow efficiency
- Work closely with relevant departments to resolve issues with open or incomplete work orders, facilitating communication and ensuring smoother operations
- Create and maintain reports that track the progress of work orders and backlog status, presenting data and insights to management for informed decision-making
- Propose and implement process improvements that will reduce work order backlogs, focusing on efficiency, quality control, and adherence to timelines
The candidate:
- Administrative experience is essential
- Previous experience working in an administrative capacity for a local authority is desirable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Database Management
