A leading and reputable finance company currently requires a Trainee Mortgage Advisor / Business Development Executive.

It will train and develop you into a fully authorised Mortgage Broker, starting as an internal Business Development Executive, and moving into the position of Mortgage Broker. Trainee Mortgage Advisor Overview:

The primary role of a Mortgage Broker is to market the company and actively establish a network of mortgage brokers and independent financial advisors, from which customer referrals are generated.

To raise the profile of the firm and miLoanbroker.com and contribute to the development and growth of the company.

Trainee Mortgage Advisor Main Duties:

  • The development of new business, via methods such as canvassing, outbound, and inbound telemarketing.
  • Build up a broker database and maintain good relationships accordingly.
  • To maintain a competent level of understanding of mainstream lender’s underwriting policies and procedures.
  • Sales processing and accurate data entry.
  • Submission of timely and accurate application packs.
  • Adherence to quality and compliance standards.
  • To assist the Specialist Mortgage Advisor at the applicable stages of the sales process.
  • To pay high regard to Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulations including Treating Customers Fairly Principles.
  • Encourage and maintain a high level of customer service and excellence.
  • To pay particular attention to ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • To always behave in a positive and professional manner when representing the company.
  • General housekeeping duties, ensuring the office is kept tidy.
  • To follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Any other duties as requested by your Manager.
