Temporary Caretaker Role (SPLIT SHIFTS)
Location: Primary School in Barry
Shift Hours: 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM & 3:15 PM - 5:45 PM
Duration: Temporary position for the first 3 weeks in January (with potential for ongoing agency work).
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Caretaker to support schools in Barry and the Vale on a temporary basis. As part of an agency team, you will have the opportunity to work across multiple schools, handling both short-term and longer-term assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Opening and locking up the school at the start and end of the day.
- General maintenance and upkeep to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
- Assisting with basic repairs and minor tasks as required.
- Supporting the school with cleaning duties, if necessary.
About the Role:
This role involves split shifts to cover critical times of the school day:
- Morning Shift: 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM
- Afternoon Shift: 3:15 PM to 5:45 PM
Flexibility and the ability to travel to different school sites in Barry and the Vale are essential.
