Academics is seeking a school Caretaker for a fantastic opportunity in Vale of Glamorgan.
The role involves general upkeep of the school grounds, including clearing rubbish and maintaining security.
Candidates should have basic DIY skills and be reasonably fit for lifting and carrying tasks.
The position offers a pay rate ranging from £14 to £16 per hour and requires flexible working hours.
Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and provide two references, along with an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS check.

Academics are working in partnership with a fantastic school who have an amazing opportunity for a school Caretaker. The right candidate will be responsible for the general upkeep of the school grounds. This includes clearing the grounds of all rubbish, leaves and snow / ice as appropriate, opening and closing the school ect.

The successful candidate will also be doing the following:

Setting the priorities for maintenance and repairs
Carrying out basic repairs
Managing access to the premises and maintaining security
Cleaning or supervising cleaning
Planning site use and development
Championing health and safety around the school, and supervising external contractors
Managing site staff

Experience, Training & Qualifications

Be able to work flexibly
