24-7 Recruitment Services is seeking experienced Class 1 HGV drivers with a minimum of 12 months road experience for ongoing work in St Athan, Vale of Glamorgan.
Candidates must hold a valid Class 1 / C+E License, have no more than 6 points on their driving record, and possess valid Tacho and CPC cards.
The position involves trunking goods throughout the UK, with working hours typically Monday to Friday, starting at either 18:00 or 08:00, averaging 40-55 hours per week.
Drivers will receive dynamic PAYE rates, with pay starting at £16.44 per hour for days and £17.44 for nights, alongside overtime rates and weekend pay.
Immediate starts are available, and the role is commutable from locations such as Cowbridge, Wick, and Barry.

Class 1 HGV driver

24-7 Recruitment Services acting as an Employment Business are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 HGV drivers on behalf of our client in St Athan, Vale of Glamorgan (CF62)

We require Class 1 HGV Drivers to work on an ongoing basis. Working out of their RDC you will be trunking goods throughout the UK.

Class 1 HGV Drivers will require:

Hold valid a Class 1 / C+E License
No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, TT's or IN's)
Hold valid Tacho and CPC cards
Paid Assessment and Induction done on the same day
Buddy day if required

Class 1 HGV Driver work will involve:

Working for one of fastest growing business in the Midlands, our client offers new modern trucks and continuity of work
Long term ongoing position
Monday to Friday start time 18:00
Monday to Friday start time 08:00
40-55 hours per week (on average)
Immediate start available

Class 1 HGV Driver will receive:

Dynamic PAYE rates

Days Monday to Friday £16.44 per hour
Nights Monday to Friday £17.44 per hour
Weekly OT after 42h £24.66
Saturday&Sunday £32.88
